Deftones Poster

Project Scope

The scope of this project was to create a poster that deviates from the band's standard color palette, and I wanted to stick with spot colors and limit the palette.

Research

This project was informed by research into past posters and merchandise Deftones used, while using a different palette yet still making it look believable as a real poster.

Challenge

The primary challenge was keeping the poster true to the original band branding; I incorporated a snake because one appears on their most recent album. Called Milk of the Madonna, which is important imagery to use with association to the album.
